Our clients currently have an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their practice in Lancashire. They would consider part time and full-time applicants for this role. There are no out of hours but there will be 1 in 2 Saturday consults or 1 in 4 at the main hospital with time off in lieu for weekend days worked, every other Saturday, with time in lieu.

You will work closely alongside the receptionist team to deliver first class first opinion care. As this is a consulting only practice and you will also have opportunity to consult at the main hospital. The ideal candidate should be happy to work sole charge and be focused on delivering first class health and client care.

Working days and hours detailed below.
• 40-hour week (09.30am-18.00pm)
• Part-time considered
• Branch consults every other Saturday or 1 in 4 at the main hospital (with time off in lieu for weekend days worked)
• No out of hours.

This role could suit either a new graduate or an experienced Vet. There is a good and varied case load and you have the added advantage of being able to refer more complicated cases to the hospital. An interest in consulting and client care would be advantageous and CPD is actively encouraged. Excellent communication skills are essential and it would be preferable if the ideal candidate was already RCVS registered.
