Veterinary Surgeon - Hampshire - Ref RL12199
Our clients are looking for an experienced feline friendly Veterinarian to join their dedicated and professional team! The role will consist of working 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday (8.30-4.30 or 10.30-6.30) with 1:3 Saturday mornings (8:30-12:30). There will be occasional sole charge, but no OOH or on call.
They are a close-knit and experienced team who promote a friendly and supportive working environment. There are monthly team meetings and annual get togethers as well as celebrated birthdays! Internal CPD and transfer of knowledge between staff members is frequently encouraged along with regular lunch and learns. The salary will be from £38,000-£52,000.
The practice is fully kitted out, but they take pride especially with the digital dental x-ray, ultrasound w/ colour doppler, handheld capnograph and K-Laser.
You will be the second vet in a two vet practice with 3 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 2 receptionists and an ACA. The Clinical Director has an internship certificate in anaesthesia and is a confident ultra-sonographer.
They are looking for an experienced veterinarian who is confident with sole charge and dentistry (they can teach dental radiography). Also, someone who has a desire to do a feline medicine certificate is encouraged but not required. Ultrasound experience is preferred but not essential.
The best candidate would be a strong communicator with a positive attitude and social outlook. Professionalism and personal responsibility are key expectations for this role.
