Permanent Full Time Veterinary Surgeon - Hampshire - Ref: ST13081
My client is currently looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly team in Hampshire. This is a full time role working 40 hours per week with 1 in 4 Saturday mornings. Their rotas are split to enable consulting and operating times to be equally shared within the team. Their daily aim is to have 2 consulting Veterinary Surgeons and 1.5 operating Veterinary Surgeons in the mornings and 2 Veterinary Surgeons for early afternoon consultations and 2 Veterinary Surgeons for evening consultations. Saturday mornings consist of 1 Veterinary Surgeon, 1 Veterinary Nurse and a receptionist from 8.30am to 1.00pm.
They are a friendly and approachable first opinion, small animal practice in Hampshire. They are an RCVS inspected and approved practice and recognised by ISFM as a cat friendly clinic who operate from a purpose designed converted barn. The team consists of 5 experienced Veterinary Surgeons who are supported by a long serving team of 5 experienced Registered Veterinary Nurses, Receptionists, Practice Manager, Administration, and maintenance. They offer the usual X-ray and ultrasound facilities including dental X-rays and dental suite, they perform in house MMP operations and they have separate cat and dog wards. Their aim is to provide their clients with the best service and care.
When possible, they like to take part in local charity events and support and encourage visits to the practice for young people of various organisations including schools. The aim of their arranged practice visits is to raise awareness of the importance of pet health care and promote the veterinary profession.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in small animal practice with the ability and desire to communicate well with not only clients but the team too.
