If you are an enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse looking to join a warm and friendly team, my client would love to hear from you!

This is a replacement position, so you will join an existing nursing team of one RVN, one student veterinary nurse (SVN) and two talented Veterinary care assistants.

You will be a dynamic and proactive Veterinary Nurse with solid all round skills. Key to your success will be your ability to embrace all aspects of the veterinary nurse role, delivering excellent patient and client care.

They have a culture of working up cases to a high standard and freedom to choose the best treatment options for the patient. Their vets have good clinical and surgical experience and they try not to refer cases. All their surgical cases are carried out in house.

Their surgery has modern equipment including sevoflurane anaesthetics, digital x-ray, ultrasound, capnography, in-house laboratory, electrocautery, dental machine and looking to invest in endoscopy– all of which they’re happy to help you brush up on as required.

They are proud to be able to provide their clinical team with the excellent facilities they need to allow them to deliver veterinary care with a dedicated dual focus of high clinical standards and exceptional customer service; this also includes a full support team of receptionists and very experience practice manager.

They welcome interest from candidates seeking a full-time (40 hours/week) position. There are no out-of-hours or on-call duties but your rota hours will include one in three weekends in the surgery (Saturday 8am-6pm, Sunday 10:00am-4pm). They will have one reception and 2 nursing team on weekends.
