Head Veterinary Surgeon - West Sussex - Ref BP13054

My client is looking for an Experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join them as the Head Vet and oversee the Vet team. You will be responsible for all clinical decisions and the handling of complaints, therefore good leadership skills are required.

The position is full time, 4.5 days per week plus 1:3 Saturday mornings. Same shift pattern each week 08:30-18:30 and 09:00-13:00 on a Saturday. No on call, no OOH and no Bank Holidays. They are flexible to be able to consider part time applications for the right individual.

Salary of up to £55,000 per annum depending on experience.

They have an experienced qualified nursing team, dedicated receptionists, 1 FT and 2 lovely PT vets. They are excellently equipped with a brand new x-ray machine, in house IDEXX, ultrasound and usual theatre monitoring and Burtons dental machine. There is plenty of parking at the practice. PM is also an experienced RVN so complete support is provided.

They are looking for a friendly and dynamic vet to lead the team and help guide the business. They are seeking a Vet that has proven small animal experience and preferably leadership and mentoring skills. You will have a real chance to have autonomy and to guide the clinic how you would like too, therefore you will be an effective communicator and have a positive can do attitude.
