A fantastic opportunity to join my clients' practice on the Kent coast, as Head Veterinary Surgeon (SA only).
If you are an experienced vet with the capability and confidence to mentor and support a clinical team, this could be the role for you, to take your career to the next level
You will need to have broad surgical experience and possess sound communication skills, as well as having a passion for leadership.

Working hours can be up to 40 hours per week and Monday-Friday between the hours of 8am-7pm
As a team player, leading from the front, you will join just a 1:5 Saturday rota (8am-5pm)
Key responsibilities include:
Assume responsibility for surgical and medical cases, undertaking surgical operations and medical investgations where appropriate
Leading the clinical team, including clinical development and training in line with CPD budget and requirements
Ensuring all clinical work is carried out to Practice standards (and as such RCVS standards) and that patients and clients alike are treated to the best level fo service
Guidance, direction, support and development of the Vet team and all clinical staff
Seek opportunities to improve the efficiency fo the Practice
Complete monthly clinical audits with the Practice Director and/or other senior staff to monitor standards of care and service
Maintain excellent relationships with staff, patients, clients and additional stakeholders
Enhance the reputation of the Practice
Comply with Debt protocols and proactively take action to ensure the debt position is fully controlled
