Head Veterinary Nurse - East Sussex - Ref RL15519

A rare opportunity has arisen for a Head Veterinary Nurse to join our clients highly motivated team at their well-established practice in East Sussex. They are looking for an experienced nurse who can positively motivate and provide gold standard care to patients and clients, providing excellent client service through clear and effective communication with a compassionate approach, whilst always prioritising patient care. You will be required to undertake general nursing duties including inpatient care, anaesthesia and nurse clinics as well as providing support and leadership to the nursing team. There will be additional tasks including clinical coaching, rotas, H&S, organisation of twice yearly stocktake and ensuring that all nursing protocols are maintained and complied with. Rota: 4 days per week, shifts 8-6, 9-7, 10-8 and 1 in 6 weekends, both Sat and Sun. No out of hours. Recently refurbished, the clinic is equipped with the full range of diagnostic laboratory equipment, digital x-ray, Doppler ultrasound, endoscopy and excellent facilities. They are looking for a Head Registered Veterinary Nurse. The ideal candidate will ideally have experience working in similar environment with some supervisory experience and preferably with clinical coaching experience. The role is also suitable for experienced Registered Veterinary Nurses looking to develop their nursing career to the next level. You will be able to lead by example by providing excellent client service whilst demonstrating exceptional nursing care to patients. This role requires excellent communication skills, a positive can-do attitude, the ability to work well within a team and possess a strong work ethic.
