Our clients are seeking a Registered Head Veterinary Nurse to join their team in East London. The practice require a confident HRVN with strong leadership abilities to lead a team of two SVN's and support the Vets with a high volume of procedures. The ideal candidate will have the drive to manage the admin side of the practice too! This role offers a salary of £29,573 - £34,615 per annum, depending on experience, plus £300 CPD allowance with 2-days CPD leave and in-house CPD available, RCVS and VDS fees, 5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays. Hours are 40 per week - 1:4 weekends and a fair share of bank holiday cover with time off in lieu and minimal on call duties over the year, approx. 3 weeks to support their dedicated night team if required, enabling the development of your ECC skills and experience. As well as your day to day duties within practice caring for your patients and clients, you will have the drive and ambition to develop the practice optimising the client and patient experience, promoting safety while training, developing and leading the entire nursing team. You’ll also be proactive in maintaining your own professional and clinical skills, carry out accurate and timely reporting and explore ways that they can further develop their standards. As a RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse, you’ll already have good knowledge of how a dynamic, practice runs efficiently and effectively.
