Full time Veterinary Surgeon - London - ref:ST10020
Job Role
Veterinary Surgeon
Job Type
Permanent
Location
London
My client has an excellent opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. They also have two other branches, so they can be flexible with location. This is a Full Time or Part Time role with 1:3 Saturdays and no OOH.
The client is a busy, first opinion practice in the heart of a lovely neighbourhood. There is a beautiful park in front of the practice that offers a lovely place for summer lunches. The practice is equipped with digital x-ray, ultrasound, endoscope and an internal laboratory for routine diagnostics. They have 2 large consulting rooms and a very bright reception. The upstairs floor is dedicated to office duties.
All three branches are placed near great transport links.
They have two Vets, two excellent Registered Veterinary Nurses, two training nurses and they welcome Nurse Students and Vet Students for their EMS. Their Clinical Director is also a certificate holder. On top of this they have an orthopaedic Vet with a certificate in advanced veterinary practice who works alongside them regularly to provide his services. They have an excellent and loyal client base which they value their relationships with. They also support many charity initiatives and will often receive pets from Cats protection and other local charities.
Overall, my client is committed to individual career development and has access to a variety of in house CPD alongside a generous CPD allowance.
Any degree of experience is accepted but they are looking for a candidate who is able to perform at least routine surgeries and confident enough with simple consultation. Senior vets are available for support. Despite previous coaching experience not being expected, they wish to ideally find a candidate interested in supporting students and new graduates.
Benefits:
Enhanced holiday entitlement and increasing holiday based on length of service
CPD paid days and allowance
Enhanced family-friendly policies, including maternity/paternity/adoption/shared parental and surrogacy pay
Private Medical Insurance

VDS cover
Birthday leave
