My client is looking for an enthusiastic and confident Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team.

The general day-to-day nursing duties will include theatre work, medical nursing, nurse clinics, and helping with reception if there is a need. You will also be supported in additional responsibilities such as Student Nurse training if this is an interest. You will work closely with the rest of the nursing team and the Head Veterinary Surgeon to ensure that the core values are met, and that gold standard care is provided to all patients that come to the practice.
The rota involves working 40 hours over 5 days per week. There will be a combination of earlies from 8:00am – 4:30pm and lates from 11:00am – 7:30pm. It also involves one in three Saturday’s mornings and there are no out-of-hours.
The salary is up to £28,000 depending on experience.
The practice is a well-established purpose-built, 100% small animal practice, that offers a wide range of veterinary care at affordable prices to all. The practice is in a superb location just a 5-minute walk from Norbury train station with easy links to central London. The clinic has light, large and airy consultation rooms, a dedicated x-ray, and ultrasound room, 2 modern theatres and a prep area, an in-house lab, a dental machine, and separate cattery and kennels.
The friendly team consists of 2 Veterinary Surgeons, 2 Registered Veterinary Nurses, and 2 Animal Nursing Assistants, all supported by 3 superbly efficient Receptionists. The team is passionate about providing gold standard care to their clients and their pets. The practice has a strong ethos of teamwork and communication.
The ideal candidate will be a confident and enthusiastic Nurse – registered with the RCVS. You will be dedicated to providing stellar service to both the clients and their pets. Being a cake, pizza and coffee lover is an absolute must!
