Full Time – Registered Veterinary Nurse – Leicester – Ref: JM12150

My client is currently looking for a team focused RVN, with a passion for working with high standards whilst in a busy (but enjoyable!) first opinion practice.

They ensure that all their nurses are given the opportunity to develop in terms of your experience, whilst also being able to use your nursing skills to their full potential, doing nurse consults, 2nd vacs, post op checks, bandage changes, weight clinics to name a few. The practice encourages their nurses to work to their full capabilities, and we support with further progression – both practically and through CPD.

Their surgery is based in an established instore practice, with bright, spacious and market leading equipment to match. The current team consists of 2 Veterinary Surgeons, 2 RVNs, 1 SVN, 4 CCAs and an experienced support team.

The ideal candidate will have good general nursing experience and great customer service skills, be cheerful, down-to-earth, and enthusiastic with a genuine interest in animal welfare. This a full time position, based on 40 hours a week (spread across 5 days, varying between 8.30 am - 7 pm) with a shared weekend rota of just 1 in 3 Saturdays (9 am - 4 pm). There is no OOH. Having a work/life balance is important to our team and we always will ensure we are protecting this.

The practise is looking for the right individual to join our care driven team, and as a result we will consider both part and full time applications.
