Job Role

Veterinary Surgeon

Job Type

Permanent

Location

London

My client has an excellent opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their team in London. This is a Full Time or Part Time role with 1:3 Saturdays and no OOH.

The practice is a busy first opinion practice in the heart of a lovely neighbourhood. There is a beautiful park in front of the practice that offers a lovely place for summer lunches, we are also a short walk from the underground station. The practice is equipped with digital x-ray, ultrasounds, an endoscope, and an internal laboratory for routine diagnostics. The practice has 2 large consulting rooms and a very bright reception. The upstairs floor is dedicated to office duties.

The practice has two Vets, two excellent Registered Veterinary Nurses, and two training nurses and we welcome Nurse Students and Vet Students for their EMS. The Clinical Director is also a certificate holder, Giulia MRCVS is currently studying to achieve the certification of the advanced practitioner. The practice has an orthopaedic Vet with a certificate in an advanced veterinary practice who works alongside us regularly to provide his services. The practice has an excellent and loyal client base, and we value our relationships.

The team share their knowledge in order to continuously improve each other and provide the best standard of care to their patients. Overall, the practice is committed to individual career development and has access to a variety of in-house CPD alongside a generous CPD allowance.

Any degree of experience is accepted but the ideal candidate is able to perform at least routine surgeries and confident enough with a simple consultation. Senior vets are available for support. Despite previous coaching experience is not expected, they wish to ideally find a candidate interested in supporting the students and new graduates.
