My client prides themselves on providing first class care to their clients and patients to the same standard that they would expect for your own pets. With full clinical freedom, they deliver high standards of surgical and medical care.
The practice continuously and actively updates their policies and procedures, to follow the current evidence based veterinary medicine, with all the team encouraged to get involved. The team consists of 5 vets, 5 RVN’s and 3 client care team members. They are looking to expand our nursing team to help support our ever-growing patient requirements.
The practice is equipped with an excellent range of diagnostic facilities. Includes three consult rooms, an operating theatre, a diagnostic suite (with digital X-ray and ultrasound), comprehensive Idexx In-house laboratory equipment plus all the other usual equipment. The practice also benefits from separate dog ward, cat ward and an isolation ward.
Full time colleagues work a 40-hour week, with one full weekday off. Long weekend off after working a weekend. Birthday off. To create an improved work/life balance. 5.6 weeks holiday per year, which increases to 6.6 after two full calendar years (January to December). No OOH.
Salary dependent of experience however very competitive with annual pay review built in. Generous CPD allowance to support your ongoing development needs and interests. RCVS and VDS fees paid and BVNA membership paid. Staff discount for your own pets, after successful completion of your 12-week probation period.
