Farm Animal Clinical Lead - Cornwall - Ref BP12111

Job Role

Veterinary Surgeon

Job Type

My client is looking for an enthusiastic professional Veterinary Surgeon to join them with a Farm Animal bias to continue to expand the service they offer to the Farm clients! They are looking for someone to become the Clinical Lead with potential to quickly progess to Clinical Director for the right candidate. They provide the opportunity to further develop the dairy side of the practice and many other aspects of the business as they continue to grow and keep up to date with technology and life! The role can be tailored to suit the individual. The rota encourages a healthy life-work balance with time off after nights and weekends on call and the current rota is 2:8, so 1 in 4 nights and weekends with 2 vets on call for farm only. Some of the vets carry out solely farm work, others purely equine with a range in between and are therefore able to offer flexibility on work, but can be 100% farm role. They have a fantastic team of 8 vets who are proactive and keen to progress. With the size of the team they are able to provide you with a great support network that encourages peers to share their knowledge, best practice advice and also in-house clinical training sessions, allowing development opportunities. They have 2 full time TB testers meaning minimal testing for clinical vets. Regular team meetings and appraisals. The usual equipment provided. The candidate must be able to work within a team and individually. Good communication skills with vets, office staff and clients are essential. A positive, proactive and flexible attitude is desired. Sense of humour also beneficial! For more information contact me on 01392249646 or at
