Our clients are looking for an enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to join their team! A typical day consists of both consultations and operations. They are 100% small animal treating mostly dogs and cats, and the occasional small furry and feathered pet too. Experience in small animal surgery required, especially routine operations: neutering, dental descale and extractions, lump removals etc. You will be expected to take part in the OOH rota which is typically one night on call during the week and 1 in 4 weekends, with a Saturday morning surgery. A dedicated nurse is always on call to support the vet. They are a team of 4 vets, 6 nurses and 5 support staff. Three of the vets have 10 years experience. They share interests in diagnostic imaging, cardiac imaging and internal medicine and in the future plan to venture into orthopaedics. Internal referral features on a weekly basis. The whole team is supportive, regularly sharing guidance and experience on both a clinical and a personal basis. The ideal candidate will be confident, have experience and will join a team of experienced and supportive colleagues. Candidate should hold a full clean driving licence and must be MRCVS registered.
