Our clients are currently looking for a Clinician/ Senior Clinician/ Professor in Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging. The busy multidisciplinary hospital with state of the art facilities hosts a wide range of specialists including internal medicine, neurology, anaesthesia, surgery, oncology and ophthalmology and the team ethos ensures exceptional clinical care and continual professional development. The diagnostic imaging suite includes an on-site 1.5T MRI (Siemens Magnetom Essenza 1.5T MRI), a new 80-slice CT scanner (Canon Aquilion Lightning) , digital radiography, C-arm and ultrasonography (GE Logiq E9 for general ultrasound and a GE Vivid E95 for echocardiography). You will be supported by a team of three experienced radiographers. The candidate will develop, lead and sustain the provision of a specialised clinical service, residency programme and teaching of veterinary undergraduate students. Clinical research is actively encouraged and supported. Candidates should have an RCVS registrable degree in veterinary science and hold or be eligible to sit the examination for a postgraduate diploma in Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging (ECVDI or ACVR). A background in research and a PhD, although desirable, are not essential. Two positions full-time positions are available. Applicants wishing to work part-time will also be considered.
