Clinical Director - Cumbria - Ref BP15677

My client is looking for a Clinical Director to join the team. The role will involve taking charge of a busy small animal 1st opinion practice. The opportunities are immense as all key members are already in place. Weekend work maybe required transiently to assist inexperienced colleagues.

You would be working a 40 hour week over 4 or 5 days between the hours of 8.30am and 5.30pm, including one night on call.

Salary will be up to £75,000 DOE

They are comprehensively equipped with digital radiography, scans, scopes bp monitoring & full idexx laboratory to mention but a few. Infusion pumps are used routinely for in patients & have a great nursing team & friendly ethic. 

They are currently seeking new Vets & Nurses after the seismic shift from mixed to small animal practice. Currently 5 full time Vets with help from local locums. They have 3 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 5 receptionists & a clerical staff of 3. The successful candidate will take charge of the vet & nurse team with a handover period from the outgoing clinical director. In the past the various members of staff have taken part in sponsored walks /litter picks etc. Also, home baked products feature prominently in staff room!

The successful candidate will be RCVS registered with several years of clinical experience in a first opinion veterinary practice. You must be flexible, tolerant & helpful, but most of all be driven and a caring & empathic attitude towards animals, clients & staff.
