My client have an exciting opportunity, they are looking for a Clinical Director to join their team. The role will involve taking charge of a busy small animal 1st opinion practice. The practice are a 2 site small animal practice. The local area is largely rural with good access to the ocean & the mountains of the lake district national park.

They are comprehensively equipped with digital radiography, scans, scopes bp monitoring & full idexx laboratory to mention but a few. Infusion pumps are used routinely for in patients & we have a great nursing team & friendly ethic. Their unique selling point is their location as they are blessed with a truly stunning outlook & a great place to be based for lovers of the outdoors.

There are currently 5 full time Vets with help from local locums. They have 3 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 5 receptionists & a clerical staff of 3. The successful candidate will take charge of their vet & nurse team with a handover period from the outgoing clinical director. In the past their various members of staff have taken part in sponsored walks /litter picks etc. Also, home baked products feature prominently intheir staff room!

The successful candidate will be RCVS registered with several years of clinical experience in a first opinion veterinary practice. You must be flexible, tolerant & helpful, but most of all be driven and a caring & empathic attitude towards animals, clients & staff.
