Our clients are currently looking for a Client Manager/Head RVN to join their team in Greater London. With support of the wider nursing team, you will assist the JVP(s) and Veterinary Surgeon(s) in the day to day clinical duties with emphasis on providing the best standard of patient care. Support in the day to day organisation of the practice to ensure a professional service and good working relations with all clients and suppliers, contributing to maximising turnover and growing the profitability of the business. You will work closely with the wider clinical and non-clinical teams to deliver timely and effective patient and customer care for all. Lead the team of nursing colleagues to achieve the best levels of patient and customer care possible. Drive the nursing team to consistently perform at their highest ability and demonstrate ownership of their actions. Responsible for all required nursing duties to be completed each day. Plus much more. You will be required to administer high level nursing care and monitor the progress of the animal being able to prioritise first aid actions to stabilise and prevent further discomfort. Prepare and clean animal accommodation in accordance with the needs of the patient and local policy, making sure the patient is safe, secure and clean, monitor and recording the patient’s condition. Assist the Veterinary Surgeon in laboratory diagnostic testing taking samples as necessary, storing and preserving in the appropriate manner and completing documentation. Customer Service - provide high quality services that meet the need of the internal and external client.
