12 Month Fixed Term Contract - Head Nurse - Ref - 13688 - Essex

My busy client in Essex is looking for a Head nurse to join the team on a 12 month fixed term contract. Their practice is a three-site group with a hospital in leafy Buckhurst Hill, Essex. The vacancy will be based at their main hospital which is within walking distance of the tube station; conveniently located on the central line of the London underground. You will responsible for setting the clinical nursing standards and to ensure the implementation of these standards. Support nursing staff whilst working within clinical capacity in line with practice standards and protocols working at all times within the guidelines of the Veterinary Surgeons Act. You will supervise and monitor the quality of patient and client care provided by nurses and the provision of clinical assistance to the veterinary surgeons. By encouraging and supporting nurse led clinics, he/she will promote long term client bonding and promote professional services by the nursing team. The job holder will maintain a caring, professional and conscientious attitude to clients and the practice team at all times. You will ensure the provision of appropriate training to all grades of nurses. He/she will maintain general good standards of hygiene and cleanliness on the premises.

• Work 40 hours/week, mixture of late & early shifts
