**Remote Working Vacancy** - Registered Veterinary Nurse needed - Business Development Executive - Ref CA14
Here at JHP we are working with a client that are a market leading provider of veterinary laboratory services and a company that is committed to providing the highest quality laboratory services to their clients.
This client is a European leader in European leader in delivery of high-quality pathology testing and imaging services. There are currently 6 veterinary diagnostic laboratories across the UK and Ireland. These laboratories offer state-of-the-art facilities in modern, spacious recently refurbished buildings.
The title of the role itself is a Business Development Executive. The aim of the role is to support the continued growth of the business and assist as part of a fast-paced team in developing and acquiring new commercial accounts.
Responsibilities for this role will include
Build a pipeline of new prospects through various business development techniques
Develop a strong understanding of our customers’ needs and present relevant services
Identify new veterinary practices within a given area and book meetings to discuss the range of diagnostic services that we offer with veterinary surgeons and practice managers
Work closely with the Business Development Manager and Laboratory directors to promote campaigns, CPD and other marketing initiatives
Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within the given time frames
Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
Track prospect and sales information within our CRM system
Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
Continuously improve through feedback
Be willing to attend exhibitions and other industry trade events regularly
Extensive travel throughout the UK
The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and target driven person with a proven track record in sales/business development. Other desirables would be previous experience in scientific sales with a focus on Veterinary and or Biomedical Sciences and demonstrable experience of winning new business.
You must have the following to be successful in your application.
Clean driving licence
Knowledge of the veterinary industry
Our client is looking for someone who has industry knowledge, with an upbeat character, and they must be self-motivated. The salary is 24k + commission which is up to 25% of the basic. Based on company revenue and performance. Hours 9am – 5.30pm Monday – Friday.
